[D5400 Glass Cloth Processing Example] Frame Shape Gasket
Examples of gasket processing that excels in thermal insulation and can withstand high temperatures up to 400°C, designed for exhaust and incineration furnaces to prevent seizing!
We would like to introduce a case where a frame-shaped gasket was produced from graphite-treated glass cloth "D5400" with a thickness of 3.2mm, based on the customer's drawing. The size is 300mm × 350mm with a width of 45mm, and the processing involved drilling 14 bolt holes with a diameter of 15mm. Using our water jet cutting machine, we achieved high precision cutting directly from CAD data. The glass cloth has been rubber-coated and further treated with graphite on the surface to prevent burning onto the flange, resulting in a non-asbestos heat-resistant gasket. It has excellent thermal insulation properties and can withstand high temperatures up to 400°C. 【Case Summary】 ■ Material: D5400 Glass Cloth Gasket ■ Product: Frame-shaped Gasket ■ Dimensions: 300mm × 350mm, 45mm width ■ Processing Details: Drilling 14 bolt holes with a diameter of 15mm ■ Processing Method: - High precision cutting using a water jet cutting machine directly from CAD data *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
